Bonnie Jean Baker 72, of Samaria, Michigan died on Monday, August 19, 2019 at her residence.
Born in Port Huron, Michigan on October 1, 1946, Bonnie was the daughter of Virgil and Elizabeth (Cummings) Bachman. She married Leon Baker on September 23, 1967 , and he preceded her in death in 2013.
Bonnie was a woman who loved the Lord and walked the walk. Her greatest joy was being a mom and grandmother. She loved animals and had a heart that never stopped giving.
Bonnie is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Leon Baker and devastated by the loss of her daughter, Michele Baker-Turvey (Jan. 2018).
Surviving are her daughter, Kimberly (Christopher) Fargo; grandchildren, Dakota, Tyler and Elizabeth Fargo; son-in-law, Brent Turvey; grandchildren, Saxon, Avian and Carston Turvey; brother, John Thomas Bachman and sister, Cheryl Moss; .
Visitation will begin at 12:00 noon Monday, August 26, 2019, at the Michael W. Pawlak Funeral Home, 1640 Smith Rd. (at Jackman) Temperance, MI. with services beginning at 4:00pm. Interment at Bedford Memorial Gardens will follow.
